If you come by car
If you come from Gap, follow the direction of Grenoble, on department road number D 1085 (or N85 on old signs), going through the Col Bayard.
Go towards St Bonnet and by-pass St Bonnet on the left, then take department road number D43, towards Chaillol, l’Aullagnier and Chantaussel. When you get to Chantaussel, after the waste bins chalet, turn at the first road on your left towards “Les Blancs” and go straight on to the end of the paved road.
If you come from Grenoble, follow the direction of Gap, on department road number D 1085 (or N85 on old signs), going through La Mure and go on up to St Bonnet, then follow the same indications as above.
If you are lost and you arrive in St Julien en Champsaur, you must drive up towards St Michel de Chaillol and when you get to Chantaussel you turn left towards St Bonnet, then you take the first paved road (Les Blancs) to your right and continue until the end of the paved road).

Public transportation
If you do not have a car, you can come by train or bus to Grenoble or Gap. For those who come by train from the North of France, the easiest way is to get to Grenoble and take the bus to St Bonnet. A Transisère line goes from Grenoble to Gap twice a day and stops in St Bonnet en Champsaur. (see schedule below). We can pick you up at St Bonnet.
Bus
You can take a bus from the bus station in Grenoble towards Gap, and you will get off at St Bonnet Champ de Foire (6 km from the hermitage)
If you come from Gap, take the same line from the bus station in Gap to Grenoble up to St Bonnet Champ de Foire .
